Welcome to your local Cats Protection!
Last year at Downham Market Adoption Centre we rescued & rehomed over 600 cats and kittens in & around Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire & North Suffolk. They came to us for all kinds of reasons – some are well-loved pets who have sadly lost their owners, others are strays who have no home, others are just unwanted.
All adult cats who come to the centre are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and are waiting for kind and loving homes.
All cat adoptions are subject to a home visit prior to adoption. Although there is no actual charge for our cats, we are financed entirely by public donation and therefore look for donations in the region of £40+ per cat to help us continue our work.
We offer a warm welcome to anyone that wants to just pop into the adoption centre for a visit. You are under no obligation, but we cannot guarantee that one of our cats won't steal your heart!
